In summer, Merikruunu comes alive with tapas and grill evenings where people gather to enjoy good company, dishes made for sharing and long evenings by the sea. It’s relaxed, welcoming and full of the easy summer atmosphere that makes the archipelago special.

In our kitchen, the seasons guide what we serve and the ingredients we work with. The same feeling carries through the day: in island excursions, cheerful encounters, the warmth of the evening sauna, the quiet comfort of the rooms and the first sea breeze in the morning.

Merikruunu’s story goes back to 1930, when the building was known as Dragsfjärd Pensionat, a well-loved holiday destination where guests returned year after year. In 2020, the historic property was carefully restored and began a new chapter as Hotel Merikruunu, bringing together the timeless spirit of the archipelago with modern comfort.

Today, Merikruunu is a hotel and restaurant experience unique to Kemiönsaari, where history and the present day meet naturally.
