Kejsarhamnen
Kejsarhamnen on the northern shore of Högsåra is not just any guest harbour – it is part of the long maritime and pilot history of the Archipelago Sea. For centuries, the pilots of Högsåra guided ships through these waters, serving everyone from royalty to Russian tsars. In the 1880s, Tsar Alexander III visited Kejsarhamnen during his summer travels, and a carving in the rock still commemorates his visits today.
Today, Kejsarhamnen welcomes visitors as a charming guest harbour where the peaceful archipelago lifestyle and the sea are always close by. The harbour offers 40 berths and services for boaters, and the nearby Jungfrusund Museum provides insights into the area’s rich maritime and pilot history.
The harbour sauna offers beautiful sea views, and after the sauna you can walk straight to the sandy beach for a refreshing swim. The family-friendly beach is ideal for children as well.
The harbour kiosk offers local products, refreshing drinks, coffee and ice cream for all visitors. Kejsarhamnen is the perfect stop to experience the calm and authentic atmosphere of the archipelago.
