Night of the Ancient Fires – 29.8.2026, Rosala Viking Centre

The Night of the Ancient Fires is an annual event that takes place in the archipelago on the last Saturday of August. In the past seafarers were guided safely to the port with the help of the fires, and today the fire is lit up once a year in honour of this old tradition. Rosala Viking Centre holds open doors during the Night of the Ancient Fires 5 PM onwards. You can also book a Viking-dinner and admire the vivid fires in the darkling night!
September Open – 12.9.2026, Dalsbruk

On the second Saturday in September, Dalsbruk’s harbor area will once again be filled with craftsmen, local food and producers, music, and a maritime atmosphere at the medieval market. September Open is the perfect occasion to enjoy the market atmosphere and the event’s diverse program. The event is free of charge and runs from 10 AM until 2 AM.
