Unique archipelago tips
Local boutiques, Finland-Swedish midsummer traditions, and the rhythm of the archipelago

Local boutiques
When moving through the archipelago, it is well worth stopping to explore local farm shops where producers sell their own goods.
Midsummer
Finland-Swedish midsummer traditions differ from the traditional Finnish way of celebrating, and they are truly best experienced in person. Many villages around Kimitoön host welcoming, community-driven events that are open to everyone.
The rhythm of the archipelago
When visiting the archipelago, it is also worth embracing a life without strict schedules – that is when you truly begin to feel like a local.
